Region covers 500.000 kms² in 5 countries – Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and the south eastern states of Mexico. There are over 100 archaeological sites, scattered amongst valleys, volcanoes, jungles & reefs, which have been saved and restored. And there are still many more to discover. Today over 5 million Mayas live in the region and preserve their culture, languages, traditions, arts & crafts, and religion.
